World Book Day 2016

What a great World Book Day! The children have had a great day. We have never seen so many amazing costumes, and I would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents and grandparents who visited school for Parents’ Day – we love having you in school.

Our Champion of Reading, Ceci Jenkinson visited and inspired lots of our children to write in exciting ways. Ceci spent some time talking to the children about their favourite books as well as delivering two wonderful sessions.

Well done to all our costume winners, Top Trump winners and awesome Book Quiz winners!

Well done to Katie and Holly who raised over £500 by not using modern technology for a whole week! Fantastic!
