Well done Year 5 for a dramatic and moving Easter service. Thank you for reminding us how important it is to love each other.

I would like you to submit a piece of work for our school magazine which will be published towards the end of May. You can submit stories, poems, play scripts, information about pets and hobbies, jokes, puzzles, art work, photographs, fact-files, school news, book, game and film reviews, innovations, inventions and technology news – absolutely anything!

Our special magazine topic this year will be ‘Positive Wrexham’ – Why do you love Wrexham?  This is also part of a Calon FM Competition. Can you write about what you love about Wrexham in 250 words? There will be an opportunity to share your thoughts live on Calon FM!

Thank you once again to all the parents who visit school on Parent’s Days. Your involvement in the education of your child not only strengthens our school, but also the progress your child will make.

Here are some of the photos that were taken at Glan Llyn. The children had a fantastic time and their behaviour was superb.

Well done to the children who have attended ‘Fun Friends’ this term. You have been an amazing group and Mrs Nevitt and Mrs Baker have been so impressed with your hard work!

Winners:

Infants: Diamond – 66% of children actively travelled to school this week

Juniors: 4SB – 61% of children actively travelled to school this week

Diamond, Ruby, 4SB, 5NH, hit the target of 50% +    Well done!

Monday – 43% of our pupils actively travelled to school

Tuesday – 46% of our pupils actively travelled to school

Wednesday – 48% of our pupils actively travelled to school

Thursday – 42% of our pupils actively travelled to school

Friday – 46% of our pupils actively travelled to school

Average – 45% of our pupils actively travelled to school this week

We were 5% short of our target but we saw an increase of 7% of pupils actively travelling to school.

Great effort!
