THE ECLIPSE

What a superb experience! Real science in all its glory. Every child in the junior department witnessed the eclipse safely this morning. It was also brilliant to share this experience with the parents who visited school for the morning.

RED NOSE DAY ASSEMBLY

Mrs Walker gave a wonderful assembly in KS2 today. Mrs Prytherch and Mrs Morris Hughes were tasked with painting a red nose blindfolded! We had an exciting game of ‘Who wants to be a Millionaire’ and we learned important messages about Red Nose Day. Well done everyone – we raised £423.35 which included £180 spent on red noses!!

RED NOSE DAY AT LITTLE TREASURES

Little Treasures enjoyed lots of Red Nose Day fun – face painting, decorating red balloons, listening to the story of the Queen’s Orang-utan and Matilda’s story all the way from Zambia.

We also held a cake sale which raised £110! Well done children and thank you to all the parents who supported us!

ART CLUB MASTERPIECES

In Art Club this week we have been blowing paint with a straw into scary hair. We then drew a face to fill in the gap.
