Homework Survey Feedback

I would like to say a huge thank you to all parents who took the time to complete the homework survey. As you can see there is a mixed response but some very useful pointers for us as a school. We will be acting on the points made and during the summer term we will be looking at a more personalised approach to homework based on your child’s needs, stage of development and age. We will also allow for more choice in the homework process.

Homework Survey

As you know we are always trying to improve the teaching and learning experiences for our pupils at Victoria CP School. Recently, we have been discussing the advantages and disadvantages of homework. Over the past few years we have set more creative homework alongside the ‘ bread and butter’ homework – learning times tables and reading! We know lots of children have access to a range of devices so we are exploring the most suitable, meaningful and relevant ways of setting homework to improve the engagement and achievement of ALL our pupils. Homework in some form or another is here to stay – we need to find the right balance!

We always welcome your thoughts on all subjects connected to school. To this end I would be most grateful if you could please spare a few minutes to complete this short homework survey. Thank you.
