World Book Day 2016 – Junior Department Competition
This year we would like you to create set of top trumps based on book characters or books that we can play in class or in the library. We would like you to choose up to 20 characters or books and decide on the categories to use.
We will be looking for the range of books or characters you choose, the originality of the categories chosen and the overall professional presentation of your top trumps!
We would like you to hand your set of Top Trumps in by Friday 4th March 2016.
Ceci Jenkinson, our Reading Champion will help choose the winners from each class on our World Book Day on Friday 11th March. We will be also having our Book Mastermind and dressing up competitions that day! Good Luck!

A big thank you to all the children who donated £1 towards HACK Horse Sanctuary today. We all met Jane, Karen and Lenny the pony and raised a massive £300 which will help the amazing work done with the horses and ponies. Thank you.

International Day Part 2
We are overwhelmed with the success of our first ever food festival. The children were absolutely amazing – sharing facts, music, dances, new language and FOOD with us all. Parents, thank you so much for bringing in a wealth of beautiful food and artefacts. Without your input, today wouldn’t have been possible. Again, well done to our confident pupils who organised the event – Fabiana, Rufus, Scarlett, Lily and Isobel.
