Well done to our drama club who put on a great show last night! You are all certainly the ‘cool’ kids! Well done for working so hard. Thank you to Miss Anderton for inspiring the children.

 

Our amazing drama group thoroughly enjoyed Theatre Clwyd’s Outreach performance and workshops relating to Junior Justice. There were some very hard-hitting themes and issues that were explored in a highly informative and dynamic way. Our pupils were brilliant, knowledgeable and contributed well to the issues of young people and the law! Da iawn.

The children had a brilliant time at Glan LLyn! Their behavior was exceptional and their excellent use of Welsh was commented on regularly. Well done blwyddyn 5!

Well done to our marvellous year 5 children who performed the Easter story brilliantly this morning! What a lovely service – da iawn pawb!

Thank you so much to our parents who joined us today for our Outdoor Art Learning Celebration event. The sun was shining and we spent a lovely few hours on our school field. The children were very proud to show everyone what fantastic work had been produced with our wonderful Artist in Residence, Lesley Martin. Thank you to Miss Edwards, Mrs Wilson and Mr Evans for organising the event.

The Welsh Government have awarded all schools in Wales with extra financial support to enable all teaching and learning staff to prepare for the new curriculum for Wales. This is our plan for the year:

Our Year 6 pupils had a brilliant time in Cardiff last week. Their behaviour was outstanding and this was commented on everywhere we went. The children enjoyed all the activities and lots of children used their Welsh language skills confidently!
