We have just signed up to Sustrans’ Active Journeys 3 year  initiative to encourage more healthy ways of travelling to school. Watch this space!

Thank you Mrs Birchall and Mrs Walker for ordering our ‘Hot Chocolate with the Head’ cup! I made a lovely, delicious cup of hot chocolate for Ruby today. Ruby is a delightful little girl who amazes us every day! Well done Ruby and remember to wash the cup on Monday! Haha!

Well done to Zac who completed the reading challenge this year! Fantastic! No wonder you are such an outstanding reader! Da iawn!

Some of our Year 4 pupils had their first forest school session today with Mrs Birchall and Mr Potts. The pupils harvested apples from our trees and went mini-beast hunting. Lots of learning and fun. Well done to the children who behaved impeccably!

Well done to all our first stars! We are very, very proud of you!

The pupils and staff at Victoria are fully embracing the Welsh Charter Challenge. We aim to willingly speak Welsh to all people in school whenever we can. Already I can hear the pupils talking to each other in Welsh – da iawn. The children are aiming to reach the summit of Snowdonia which means they are speaking Welsh in lots of natural situations.

Mrs Andrews has even set up a challenge for the teacher who speaks the most Welsh!
